Our Vision
What we're
building
Bali has something rare. At its core it is the people and the history and the way of interacting that the locals have here, a feeling of real solidity. They seem to really know themselves in a way that's hard to find in the West. They have a foundation that they rest upon. It's like a healthy soil they grow from. So no matter what they do, and no matter what challenges come in their lives, they seem to have that foundation to return to. There's a saturation here. Of color, of heat, of life, you can feel it as soon as you arrive. That's what people come here to find and to experience.
Most people who come here feel it the moment they land. And most people leave without ever quite reaching it.
They go whitewater rafting or take a cooking class or a yoga class. They enjoy these things, but there's something missing. A feeling that they're somehow on the sidelines. That they're seeing a culture that's so deep and so rich all around them, but can't quite access it.
We see a world where that changes. Where visitors and locals actually meet. Where the people who come here searching for something real find it, and the people who live here and carry generations of knowledge have a place to share it. Two groups of people who need each other, finally in the same room.
We see classes happening all over Bali. In jungles and rice fields and along the coast. Teachers who thought no one was interested in what they knew, sharing it with people who'll carry it home and think about it for the rest of their lives. People leaving feeling like more is possible. Like they touched something real.
That's the world we're building.
One class at a time.
